Fair & Co is an arts consultancy founded by Flora Fairbairn and Julia Fairrie. Collaborating with the brightest stars across the art and design sectors, Fair & Co produce creative projects and build art collections.
Their multi-disciplinary team help organisations and individuals with art and design solutions. Operating as a network of creative specialists; architects, artists and designer-makers, Fair & Co source and commission unique, and visionary talents for a diverse range of clients.
Flora Fairbairn is an art advisor and independent curator. With a background in architecture, she has been producing pop-up exhibitions in unusual non-gallery spaces for the past fifteen years. Flora has a reputation for discovering and launching the careers of some of the most exciting artists working in the UK today. She has worked with hundreds of artists, selling their work to a wide range of private and public collections around the world. Locations where Flora has curated shows include La Casa Encendida, Madrid, Somerset House and a derelict building at Kings Cross. She has been on the committee for the Future Contemporaries Group at the Serpentine Gallery, sits on the King’s Cross Central Arts Advisory Panel, and since 2008 she has been creative advisor for Havana Cultura’s visual arts programme in Cuba.
Julia Fairrie has worked for international development agencies as an arts, media and PR consultant, and has run public education arts programs for over ten years. She is best known for taking charity messages into the mainstream through collaborations with galleries, designers, artists, photographers and the media. She has worked with multiple international organisations and leading artists, and has collaborated with major galleries and museums including the Bloomberg Space, the British Museum, the United Nations Headquarters, New York and the Whitechapel Art Gallery.
